Hetzner acts as a data processor on behalf of the controller under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Analytics (Umami)

This website uses Umami, a privacy-focused, self-hosted web analytics platform, to collect aggregated usage statistics. Umami is configured to run without cookies and does not track visitors across sessions or other websites. The following anonymized information is collected:

  • Page URL and referrer
  • Browser, operating system, and device type (derived from user agent)
  • Approximate country (derived from IP address; the IP itself is not stored)
  • Screen resolution and language

No personally identifiable information is stored, and individual visitors cannot be re-identified from the data. The Umami instance is hosted on the same infrastructure as this website. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used in order to improve it).
